On The Spot Cards

On The Spot (OTS) cards are branded physical cards preloaded with award points. They're a fun and easy way to immediately recognize accomplishments.

Participants scratch off the serial number and enter it on the platform. The award amount is applied to the user's Global Rewards Marketplace account for immediate use.

When an On The Spot redemption occurs, an action named OTS_REDEMPTION is logged to Nitro with metadata that includes the card number and point value. The points appear in Impact, the Profile web component, the Global Rewards Marketplace, and on the Award Account tab in the User Management view.

To redeem an On The Spot Card:

An award account must be set up with the Global Rewards Marketplace.
You must have the On The Spot (OTS) redemption feature activated.
The user redeeming the card must be enrolled in your award account.
The card number must be a valid 16-digit code.
